Investing in Silver

If your thinking about investing but your worried about our currently unstable economy you may want to invest in precious metals like gold or silver since these investments seem to be more stable than the American dollar currently is.

For over 30 years the Monex companies have been America’s silver and precious metals investment leader. You can purchase silver or other precious metals for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository through Monex Companies for your investment needs.

It would be kind of cool to see what gold or silver bars look like in person, that you own yourself. You know in your hand, just once. Ok maybe more than once, ha ha.

Moving in the City

I can remember seeing this commercial a long time ago. These people were trying to move in a big city. The were sitting down stairs with a mattress. There was no where to park in front of there building. There friend pulled up in front of the building and stopped when the light turned red. His friends threw the mattress on top of his car, tied it down and then went to get into the car only to realize that when they tied the mattress on they also tied the doors shut.

You knowwhen it comes to moving in a big city like new York your probably better off hiring a New York Moving Company

How to write a collage paper

I ran across these instructions for writing a collage paper. Whats funny is this is how I used to write papers when I was in high school. Sometimes I write ads like this too, ha ha. I really hated school.

1. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a well lit place in front of your computer.
2. Log onto MSN and ICQ (be sure to go on away!). Check your email.
3. Read over the assignment carefully, to make certain you understand it.
4. Walk down to the vending machines and buy some chocolate to help you concentrate.
5. Check your email.
6. Call up a friend and ask if he/she wants to go to grab a coffee. Just to get settled down and ready to work.
7. When you get back to your room, sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well lit place.
8. Read over the assignment again to make absolutely certain you understand it.
9. Check your email.
10. You know, you haven't written to that kid you met at camp since fourth grade. You'd better write that letter now and get it out of the way so you can concentrate.
11. Look at your teeth in the bathroom mirror.
12. Grab some mp3z off of kazaa.
13. Check your email. ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR YET?!
14. MSN chat with one of your friends about the future. (ie summer plans).
15. Check your email.
16. Listen to your new mp3z and download some more.
17. Phone your friend on the other floor and ask if she's started writing yet. Exchange derogatory emarks about your prof, the
course, the college, the world at large.
18. Walk to the store and buy a pack of gum. You've probably run out.
19. While you've got the gum you may as well buy a magazine and read it.
20. Check your email.
21. Check the newspaper listings to make sure you aren't missing something truly worthwhile on TV.
22. Play some solitaire (or age of legends!).
23. Check out bored.com.
24. Wash your hands.
25. Call up a friend to see how much they have done, probably haven't started either.
26. Look through your housemate's book of pictures from home. Ask who everyone is.
27. Sit down and do some serious thinking about your plans for the future.
28. Check to see if bored.com has been updated yet.
29. Check your email and listen to your new mp3z.
30. You should be rebooting by now, assuming that windows is crashing on schedule.
31. Read over the assignment one more time, just for heck of it.
32. Scoot your chair across the room to the window and watch the sunrise.
33. Lie face down on the floor and moan.
34. Punch the wall and break something.
35. Check your email.
36. Mumble obscenities.
37. 5am - start hacking on the paper without stopping. 6am -paper is finished.
38. Complain to everyone that you didn't get any sleep because you had to write that stupid paper.
39. Go to class, hand in paper, and leave right away so you can take a nap.

Those cool new cameras on cars

There are so many neat gadgets out there. When I look at cars and I look at the cameras there putting in place for rear view and side mirrors and such (which also worries me because its just one more thing that can break). I keep expecting to see these cameras come up with night vision. The reason for this is that it would make it a lot easier to see things that might be getting ready to cross the road, like Deer. Actually a camera with one of those heat sensor things might be the most practical.

Until then you might want to have someone riding with you that can wear night vision or heat sensor goggles sitting in the passenger seat. Optics Planet.com has night vision goggles as well as other items that you would use your eyes with like designer sunglasses.

Think before you shout something out a window!!!

The Christmas parade runs right in front of Rent A Center where bear works. The general managers oldest son is special needs. He's blind and he has something else wrong with him. I'm not sure what it is but he takes medication for it. He goes to a school in town for special needs kids. When ever there is a parade they pull the couches out of the showroom that aren't in the best shape and line them up on the sidewalk and invite the kids from his sons school to come down and watch the parade with them. Since some of them are in wheel chairs or mentally challenged in some way. I brought the kids up there and brought some Pizza's as well and Travis (the general manager) made a big container of hot chocolate for everyone.

Well, the point of this post is all of the kids were sitting out front waiting for the traffic to stop and the parade to start and this girl drives by and yell out her window "Hey Retards!". I'm sure she had no idea that there were a bunch of special needs kids on those couches but that's still not the point. Well she knows now and I hope she feels like sh*t for it. one of the mother got out in the road and forced her to stop her car and then got right down in her window and gave her a major tongue lashing.

The point of the story is don't yell something stupid out your window when you don't really know who your yelling at.

Bear's Job

I am really glad my husband likes his new job and that it seems to be so difficult for him to piss them off. He recently got a life insurance quote for a company life insurance policy and its only 10 dollars a week for 500 thousand dollars worth of life insurance. Isn't that cool. The health insurance is good too. Its not cheap. Its costing almost 400 dollars a month just for Bear and me but it has a 500 dollar deductible, Co pay 80 percent coverage on prescriptions. I haven't had insurance this good since my divorce.

Shoes

I have soooo never been good in high heels. I have always stumbled around in them and looked anything but sexy. They hurt my feet now. I gave up in them several years ago. besides my legs are way to long to be wearing really high heels anyway. I look like I'm walking around on stilts when I put them on. I'm really best in a short heel or no heel at all. You know at my wedding I wore a pair of flat ballet slipper style shoes.

That doesn't mean I can't admire sexy boots and sexy shoes though. some of them I just don't get. I don't know whats up with those puts that add 2 inches to your height. I don't know many women that wish they were taller. Longer legged maybe but not taller.

My Riding Days

My horseback riding days are long gone I'm afraid. I don't know how I feel about that. I love horseback riding but I seem to be so stiff in the morning now and there is always something hurting. I don't imagine horseback riding would help that any at all. But who knows it might be good for me. I don't remember ever suffering any log term injuries from riding as I have done from walking, running, or digging. I used to be fearless though. Flying through the fields as fast as I could get her to go! Jumping anything that would stand still while riding bareback.

I also used to love the look of the equestrian riding apparel to. I loved the little caps (that were actually helmets) and the stretchy riding breeches and the tailored jackets. I loved the look of riding boots. I used to dream of having a dozen different colors of breeches and a riding coat to match.

By the way found this video on you tube and thought it was cute. It has Clydesdale's in it.

A Saterday in the Ozarks

Ah yes its Saterday morning in the Ozarks and very clearly late autumn. We had a slight chance of snow last night and none on the ground this morning. Thats pretty typical. The ground is covered in a carpet of leaves. The sky is gray and its cold.

Everything is done for Christmas/Yule except for decorating the tree (which is up with lights on it) and buying my dads gift (and we have no idea what were getting him). I'm already kind of sick of the Christmas thing.

I ran across this TV show on lifetime last night which America's Psychic Challenge. They have 16 people on the show claiming to be psychics. There was some really interesting stuff going on. one of the things they had to do was walk into a murder scene and tell them what happened and try and tie the guy sitting in the room to it. There were 4 people left when I watched it. two of them nailed it almost perfectly. They knew there was a fight. They knew the shooter left the bar and came back. One of them knew the shooter was famous and knew where the victim that died died at. The other one pinpointed where the victim that did not die was sitting when he was shot and mimicked the exact position he was sitting in. She also knew where the victim that didn't die was shot.

Before the breaks they have a psychic challenge for the audience. I've been going through watching old episodes and so far I have gotten everyone of the challenges right, its pretty cool.

Artwalk in Florida

I love to look at Art. I guess I'm sort of a nerd that way. I like to look at the paintings and try to figure out what the artist had in mind when they painted it. In St Augustine Florida they have a self guided St. Augustine Artwalk one on the first Friday and Saturday of every month from 5 to 9pm. Its one of St. Augustine's most popular cultural events. Over 20 galleries participate in the event and you can enjoy the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments . The tours begin at Rembrandtz Fine Gifts for Fun People, 131 King Street. St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains and Old Town Trolleys offer attendees a complimentary shuttle service to most of the galleries. Shuttles run on a continuous loop every 30 minutes. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary ride to several destinations on the ArtWalk.

One of the featured artists is Peter O'Neill who is most famous for his poster of a Sept. 11th Fireman. Theres a link to his website on the event website and I got to look at the rest of the stuff he has done. He uses a lot of rich colors in his paintings.

Black Friday

Tomorrow is black Friday and unlike a lot of people I will not be joining the mad crowds at Wal-Mart at 5am to do shopping. I got most of my Christmas shopping done already. I plan on being asleep at 5am. That doesn't mean I will be asleep since the dogs love to wake me up periodically throughout the night barking at something that isn't there.

AAMCO

This is interesting. AAMCO transmissions is giving away a trip to Hollywood. Yet another place I will probably never get to see. Also, anytime you get have a 50 dollar service visit you get a free oil change. I imagine just getting your transmission flushed is going to cost you 50 dollars or more. it looks like there also giving away copies of the movie "Live Free or Die hard". I don't think I've heard of that movie but if its an action movie that would explain why. I'm not a big action movie fan.

That also reminds me I'm overdue for an oil change. The last thing I want is my dad finding that out and having to hear the usual lecture.

AAMCO has 40 years of experience dealing with transmissions (an expensive thing to repair and something many of us hope to never have to deal with). They've serviced 25 million and counting. They have the training and the diagnostic equipment to make sure your car, truck or SUV gets fixed right the first time. If you've ever had to take your vehicle back to a shop to get fixed more than once you know how frustrating that can be.

Babies Everywhere

We went to my mothers to eat thanksgiving dinner. I did pretty good I think, keeping my diet in mind for the most part. I did have a piece of the lemon meringue pie I made.

There were babies everywhere this year. My nephews all have kids, except for Justin who has one due any day now. My cousins all told his girlfriend they were going to try there hardest to make sure she went into labor before they left and as part of this there taking her shopping at Wal-Mart tomorrow morning for Black Friday.

I was soo tired when I came back from dinner. I lay down and took a 1 hour nap and to tell you the truth I really would love to go to bed right now. I have a little bit of work to do first though.

Measured Up

This is a fun site I came across. its called Measured Up.com and its very entertaining the read about all of the different things that have happened to people in there shopping experiences. Its definitly the The last word in customer service. Its a site where you can go and write and publish your experiences at different stores throughout the country. They even have a section for doctors offices on there. There are some very interesting stories on there. Some people are also clearly just trying to be difficult. I've been both a customer service rep and a consumer so I can see both sides of most arguments on the site most of the time.

A boring post

Ok its 72 freaking degrees outside and its November 21st. Someone needs to remind mother nature that its late autumn!!!

We are finally getting some badly needed rain though. We haven't gotten much and actually there's already blue sky showing. But we did get a little bit. After this nice little shower our temperature is supposed to start dropping and were going to get below freezing tonight, but not enough that I have to worry about digging up my more valuable Canna lilies yet.

Is my life really so boring that I'm talking about the weather/

Wireless router

Its so cool having a wireless router. I love being able to go to the coffee shop in town and sit on there deck and open up my lap top and be able to pick up both the coffee shops internet and the internet from the McDonald's down the street. Its just cool to be able to sit in a restaurant and work on the internet or to be able to be as far as 80 feet from your modem and be able to access the internet. Its cool.

An interesting day for Bear

I am so tired tonight. I have a little bit of work left to do. Bear had to work unusually late tonight. They had problems at work with a repo. At least Bear wasn't involved.

They went out to try and get this stuff from a guy that has pulled a gun on them in the past. Bear stayed at the store. They tried to get a police officer to meet them there because the guy has pulled a gun on them before. The store's upper management won't allow them to press charges. Well the guy wouldn't open the door and wouldn't talk to them and on there way back they learned he charged them with terroristic threatening. That guy never even talked to them.

I told ear they needed to talk to the mayor since they did try to get the police to go out there with them and the police refused. I'm curious to see how this turns out.

Freeze It

I suffer from pretty much constant pain in one for or another. Sitting in a chair in any position seems to be a problem for the bones, and muscles between my shoulder blades and neck. I get migraines. My body is sore and stiff every single morning. When I get out of bed it sounds like rice crispy treats. I can't be on my feet very long without them hurting so badly that its more comfortable to walk on the sides of them. I guess I'm just lucky that I have a high tolerance for all of it.

I'm not saying I can tolerate the migraines. I can't. No one can tolerate one of those. I've taken over the counter pains medication for them for soo long that it takes as many as six Tylenol and 4 aspirin just to take the edge off of it.

I can use Freeze It to help ease the pain while I'm waiting for the pills to kick in. You have to be careful when putting it on your face. Its agony if you get it in your eyes but it does help. I also use Freeze It on my neck and on my beck when I have to be sitting for long periods. I've found that its not really strong enough to ease the pain in my feet. I haven't really found anything strong enough to do that. The skin on a persons feet is very thick and tough and since I frequently go barefoot the skin on mine is even more thick. I do find that its much stronger than most of what you get on the market. Remember, its called Freeze It Gel.

This is my picture. Its an old one. I don't look like this anymore. A friend of mine put those cool bubbles in the background.

Honda's new hydrogen car

I saw a commercial for that new Honda car that runs on water. At least thats what I thought he commercial said. I saw this car on TV not to long ago but it was nothing like this.

I hope its a good enough idea for them to come out with a cheaper version. its only going to be available as a lease from what I understand and that monthly payment is 5600 dollars. But its really cool. You can read here about what your going to get for that 500 dollars a month. Here is the link

Network Solutions

Building an online store can be a major pain in the butt for anyone, even someone who really knows what there doing. So you can imagine how difficult it can be for a person who doesn't really know what there doing. take me for example, I don't know what I'm doing and I wasted an entire weeke3nd trying to set up an online store. The company I chose to buy my hosting through has built in Shopping Cart Software but not very good instructions and I never did figure out how to use it.

Network solutions offers you everything you need to build an online store, including software you can actually use without having a computer science degree. Network Solutions is part of a company called Monster Commerce founded in 1998. The popularity of this website was partially due to their development of a an online store that was a completely integrated and had customizable shopping cart solutions for companies of all sizes. In 2006, MonsterCommerce became part of the Network Solutions family of online products and gained the backing of a large corporation with decades of experience in the online industry. Its worth checking out if your looking for a truly excellant shopping cart program.

A trip to the state line

I made another delivery to The Blue Pig in Mountain Home today. I usually enjoy the drive but today was not the best time for me to be making the delivery. We didn't get the call until 10:30 in the morning and I didn't finally get out of town until 12:30. By the time I got up their and made the delivery and headed out of town it was already 4. Thats meant driving home through the mountains in the dark without contact lenses on roads I am really not familiar with.

I always get lottery tickets when I'm near a town thats at the state line. I don't know if i should take these as signs or not but when I pulled into the parking lot of the gas station the song Knicking on heavens door was playing and when I left the song Lonesome Loser was playing, lol. I don't think I'm going to win anything this time. besides we haven't had the best of luck buying tickets in Missouri anyway. Oklahoma is luckier for us.

My Poor Horrible Car

You know, maybe if I put a car cover on my car when I wasn't driving it it wouldn't look so terrible now, lol. Then again I probably would have been to cheap or to lazy to put the cover on there. I wouldn't have any idea of where to get car covers anyway.

The end of a long week.

Well, another day has passed and tomorrow my week starts over. There isn't much I can really say about it other than the whole Pr crap. I did get some product samples in the mail today and I'm pretty excited about those. There were pencils made from recycled newspaper that were also scented. I also got some birthday candles that burn colored flames and some snow that starts out as a powder and puffs up when you add water to it.

I've been sitting here this evening kind of hafl way working and half not. There are icicle Christmas lights hanging outside of the window and I've been watching a perfect half circle moon set in the west. its gone now. I can't really say anything else has happened lately. I guess my lie is kind of dull these days. But its winter. Things are supposed to slow down.

Personalized Gifts

Personalized gifts are nice to get. Identity Direct features a Personalized Gifts for Children for children called my special Christmas Adventure and the story has the child's name in it. That would be really exciting to a little kid. To have a story read to them or to read a story thats about them and an adventure they didn't have. The story is a magical journey with Santa Clause. I know when I was a kid Santa was a big deal. They also have a lot of other personalized gifts along the lines of Disney and Sesame Street as well.

Grrrr

Hey its another bright sunny day in the Ozarks and WordPress doesn't seem to want to cooperate today. It would be very nice if it would since I have a whole bunch of 10 dollar adds I could do for those blogs. If there not snatched up before WordPress decides to work maybe I can do them. It could just be my internet though. Its been screwy lately as well.

Payday Loans

They have payday loans in the UK too. I didn't know that until I started writing this earlier in the evening. Its through a site called Roberts Bridge Financial.com. The name kind of makes me think of a bridge loan but I'm sure thats not what they do (by the way a bridge loan is what we in the mortgage industry used to call financial suicide).

There are lots of reasons why a person might need a Salary Advance. They might need to take a pet to a vet and need money for that or maybe there child is sick and they can't afford the medication (thats become a hot topic recently).

I don't live in the UK and probably never will but I do have a friend that is moving there soon to take a job he was offered. He is going to be flat broke when he gets there too and may find himself needing a Cash Advance for something. Any situation could pop up after he gets over there. At least he won't have to worry about medical bills. I think since he is there for work they cover his medical care. He can call us and let us know if its as slow as we in America have been told.

Payday Loans

Payday Loans are important to a number of people for a lot of reasons. Usually someone using one of these payday loans doesn't have good credit and has been down on there luck and depleted there savings. It happens to a lot of people all of the time.

Now to help ease the stress on people applying for these emergency funds and maybe to make it a little bit easier for them to borrow the money to many of the sites have gone to faxless payday loans or no fax payday loans.

PayDayLoanQuotes.com is one of the sites that has gone to this system.

More about Google

I made this button for a friend who requested a pink one for her site. This morning Google went through with another wave of attacks. it looks as though there hitting anything that shows any indication of having sponsored posts on it or what "they" consider to be irrelevant content. My question is why they think they have the right to judge that. They don't. A blog belongs to an individual and they have the right to write what ever the hell they want on it. My cat blog stays related. if i have an off topic add then i find away to relate that go animals in one way or another. Thats still related to the pet blog. And what about personal blogs. You can write what ever the heck you want in a personal blog because they cover a wide variety of topics.

PPP has finally taken notice of this and is implementing there new ranking system right away. I don't know about the other sites. Two of them I use don't mess with Google ranking at all. They base there ranking on a number of other things and I have 3's across the board with them. What aggravating is one of my blogs would have had a 5 if Google had ranked as they usually do. I worked hard for that 5 and now it has a big fat Zero too. That blog has over 1000 sites linking to it.

Online Casino Bluebook

There are lots and lots of Online gambling and casino's out there. Its hard to know which ones you should and shouldn't join. My husband joined one that randomly took 50 dollar amounts out of his account and several other members accounts without any explanation.

Online Casino Bluebook is a gambling site review. There is a long list of sites on there, many that I haven't heard of before and Online Casino Bluebook gives each one of them a ranking. The website is Online Casino Bluebook.com. Be sure to check a sites ranking before joining.

Suprise

You know I got frustrated this afternoon and started eating my emotions. Thats something I'm bad about doing. It wasn't always that way but it is now. Well I did eat my emotions all afternoon but I kept to low calorie food. I did eat a cheap Kroger pizza but ended up giving Coyote half of it and therefore cutting the calories in half as well. I sat down and braved the calorie counter this afternoon and was surprised to discover that I am still 450 calories under my daily goal.

Dating today

A friend of mine who has been single for 7 years seems to have finally found someone who is as interested in getting serious with someone as he is. She is someone Bear knew from church and has been single for 11 years. We introduced them and sparks are already flying.

I didn't realize how complicated dating can get when you get older. Even Online Dating. There are an overwhelming amount of dating sites out there and it can be difficult to decide which one is the right one for you. Prime Dating Sites.com is a dating site review site. They write up reviews on the different dating sites and you can base the decision of what dating site to use on these reviews.

GoogleSmacked

The sky is cloudy and gray again today and unseasonably warm. The trees are nearly bare and I hope to find time to sweep the leaves out of the gravel beds again this afternoon. There are chances of rain but I don't think its enough to actually reach us even though they were calling for big storms on the radio yesterday.

I was reading about the big Google Pr drop (which will probably go down in internet history) this weekend and found an article on a blog that used the phrase GoogleSmacked and I thought it was so funny I decided to make a big button for all of us to use. I guess I made it a little bit to big, lol. But I think its kind of funny.

IConact.com is a brand new concept in advertising. Batteries

Everybody needs batteries is for something at some time or another for something. We all use cellphones that have batteries in them. We also need laptop batteries and the clocks in our home that don't plus in all require batteries. Plus some digital electric clocks have batteries in them to keep them from turning off when the electricity goes out. At a website like AtBatt.com you can get every kind of battery you could ever possibly need all in one place. No shopping or running around required.

Home Security

I ran across a home security blog the other day. It covered a lot of topics that had nothing to do with home security and I thought that was very interesting. At least I wouldn't have thought they had anything to do with home security. They covered such things as the use of space heaters and mowing your lawn in such away that doesn't hurt your back and boat safety and all sorts of other interesting topics. It might be worth reading through. Its called Home Security Blog and you can find it at Home Security Blog.com.

Bet 365

My husband plays those online casino sites all of the time. He is a big online card player and gambler. He loves it and does it all of the time. I'm not into online poker. Actually I'm not into any kind of poker game. I have no interest in it at all.

Bet 365 is a pretty good gambling site though. You can play the lottery on this site. I don't know of any other gambling site that you can play the lottery on. Not only can you play the lottery on this site but you can play the lottery in Germany, Canada, Australia, and even the Spanish Lottery. Not just the American Lottery. They don't have power ball or mega millions on there though. Thats really a pity. I think its really ridiculous that you can't buy mega millions and power ball tickets online. You should be able to do that.

They also offer sports betting. You can bet on such sports as American Football, Australian Rules, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing/ufc, Cricket, Cycling, Darts, Futsal, Gaelic Sports, Golf, Greyhounds, Horse Racing, Ice Hockey, Lotto, Motor Sports, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, Soccer, Specials, Tennis, and Winter Sports.

One Good Love.com

Dating after high school is challenging. Its even more challenging if you've been married for awhile and then get divorced. Things change while your married, so I'm told anyway. Its hard to meet single people, and goddess forbid one of your friends should try to set you up with someone. Blind Dates are the worst.

Can you imagine being gay or a lesbian and trying to meet people. That must be especially challenging. Unless your at a gay bar or something how can you tell? I guess they have ways. just like witches have ways of knowing other witches.

But there are gay and lesbian singles sites that can help you out with that. One of them I ran across recently has a surprisingly accurate personality test. Its called One Good Love.com. You should go there and take there personality test even if your not gay or a lesbian.

New York City Pass

I've written about a Swedish pass or a Uk pass. I can't remember exactly what it was called before but here is the same thing only its a New York CityPass. This is also one of those places I would like to see someday. You pay 1 single fee and you get a booklet of passes for Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Museum of Modern Art, American Museum of Natural History, The Guggenheim, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, Brooklyn Museum of Art, NBC Studio Tour, Circleline Sightseeing, Radio City Music Hall Stage Door Tour, The United Nations Tour, Madison Square Garden All Access Tour, and several more. I think there only 1 day passes and I'm not sure if you could actually see that many places in one day. You might be able to. Having never been to New York City I can't really say if that would be possible or not. From what I have read this can actually save you time because you won't be forced to wait in line for tickets. You might be able to save some money though because your saving 50% off of the admission price and from what I understand things in New York City are not cheap.

Hmmm

Wow my post about the page rank and practical magic got reviews but not about the suicidal Deer that tried to take my husband with him, lol, shes. Well in case you guys missed it here in the link on that one. That big 4 point buck did over 1000 dollars worth of damage to the body of bear car. were getting the window and the mirror fixed and leaving the rest. His car is almost 10 years old after all.

Ahh my favorite movie is on tonight. Its Practical Magic. Since I'm in a really really crappy mood at the moment after loosing my Pr I was so glad to have It at least makes me feel a little better to see my favorite movie playing tonight. Especially when I look through the pages and pages of 25 and 30 dollar ops I no longer am qualified to take. Yes I am fuming mad right now and I'm probably going to be doing a lot of complaining.

DateHookUp.com

DateHookUp.com is another free dating service. I just joined them to take a look around the site. its a quick and simple sign up. not like those that you have to go through pages and pages and pages of stuff to set up your profile, it was quick and easy. The site also offers date ideas and forums. I love forums. Knowing everyone there is looking I would think it would be a nice way to meet people. Once again the site is 100% free and very easy to sign up for.

Still Mad

Yippie my husband is bringing me home long John Silvers for Dinner. I've kind of been pigging out since I found out about my Pr drop. its depressing and like most women I feel the need to make a pig of myself when something depressing happens to me. I guess its just a woman thing. I'm not the only one. Its not as if google selected just me. Everyone has had major google PR drops. There all pissed about it too because these drops mean drops in income that they were used to receiving. It really really sucks.

Carsblvd.com

How would you like to never pay full price for a car again. Wouldn't it be nice if car dealerships had to compete with each other a little bit more to sell you a car. At Carsblvd.com you can get your vehicles at wholesale prices by letting dealers compete for your business. You put in what your looking for and the site sends you quotes from different dealers. Lets say your looking for Honda Car Quote for example. You just submit that to the site and you can get quotes from a whole bunch of different dealerships. Its that simple.

Wind Turbines

I love wind turbines. I love the way they look and the way they sound and the fact that they produce energy. I don't like there cost though. Unfortunately here in the Ozarks wind turbines are not really practical since we don't have a lot of win. Here is an interesting article from tree hugger about them though.

All of the following is excerpted from Windterra press and website material. Key points to remember for this residential wind turbine are: much less expensive than solar install for similar output; very low visual profile; house needs professional assessment for structural integrity/sound damping. We strongly suggest you view the linked video and show it to the neighbors before you go for one. And finally, make sure you're up to laddering up the roof for an occasional oiling or can hire someone for occasional maintenance.

Want to save on your electric bill with alternative energy but can't spring for a solar roof? The answer is blowing in the wind, at least according to Windterra, a Canadian wind turbine manufacturer that hopes to enter the California market via the East Bay...

Windterra turbines are vertical axis turbines (VATs) that have a boxy, low profile look, with three small blades perched on a short platform [pictured].

"Most people who pay about $200 a month for electricity can expect to save between $50 and $75 per month with a Windterra turbine," said Gayle Larson, director of market development for the company...

Solar roofs cost about 20,000 for a typical two-bedroom California home. Windterra turbines cost $5,900, with the cost of installation about $1,000...

"Yes, it needs to have an architect check for the structural integrity of the roof. The unit is 250 pounds or so," said Yanni Kalajakis, a marketer in Windterra's San Ramon office.

Advantages as outlined on the Windterra website are as follows:

* VAWTs are omni-directional (can instantaneously accept wind from any direction) as opposed to Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines (HAWTs) which have to constantly rotate so that they are facing the wind.

* VAWTs are easily roof mountable and are less affected by turbulent air than HAWTs, which make VAWTs far better suited for residential areas where obstacles such as other houses and trees may disturb the airflow. Mounting the VAWT on a roof as opposed to a pole or tower makes the unit more accessible for easy routine maintenance.

* Windterra's VAWTs rotate at a much lower speed than the very high speeds of existing HAWTs (225 rpm versus 900 rpm), resulting in much lower noise levels and vibration.

* Windterra’s inverter technology provide efficiencies at lower voltages (lower wind speeds) not seen anywhere in the industry.

* Windterra's control system allow the turbine to operate at its most efficient level throughout the wind velocity range (Dynamic Loading). This ensures that the turbine is always producing the most energy possible for a given wind speed without overloading the turbine.

* Our blade design optimizes the turbine’s performance at typical lower wind speeds. Most designs concentrate on rated wind speed and rated power, which yield a lower annual power output at typical wind speeds. Windterra’s designs focus on generating the most amount of power at typical wind speeds. The result is a higher annual power output - this is what is important to the consumer - annual power output, not rated power!

* Windterra ships an all in one, complete system; everything you need to mount the personal wind turbine to residence or commercial building comes in one package!

* Windterra’s ECO1200 is a complete "all-in-one" wind turbine system, which includes the turbine, controller/inverter, and mounting system.

See promotional video with the turbine in motion here.

Digitial Cameras

I love my digital camera. It was a mothers day present 5 years ago. I guess its really time to replace it. Bear has one picked out he wants to get for me thats 500 dollars. I'm more interested in the Nikon D40x. It a canon like the one I have now. My neighbor has one she spent some serious bucks on. She does photography for a hobby though. I have a picture frame on my desk with some beautiful pictures she took of echinacea and butterflies in my garden during the summer.

I do love digital cameras. I think its one of the best inventions. No more having to take the film in and have it developed. You can see the pictures right after you take them and flip through what you've taken and see what you want to delete. Its very very cool.

I love to use my camera mostly to take pictures of the woods as the seasons change and of things I would love to remember. I have online photo albums but I guess I need to get another scrap book. Scrap books are nice to flip through. There also a lot of fun to make.

Suicidal Deer

Well bear got hit by a deer this morning. And when I say hit by the deer I mean he was driving down the road and the damn Deer ran into the side of his vehicle. The antlers went smashing through his drivers window and the deers body made a nice big dent in the side of the Rav and it broke off his drivers side mirror as well. The window and the mirror can both be fixed for 300 dollars. I guess we both get to drive beaten up ghetto cars now.

You can't really tell from the pictures but the deer is a young 8 point buck. He's at the butchers now being made into summer sausage.

The Doc Shop

It seems that everyone is really looking forward to me being able to get contact lenses in January when our insurance goes into effect. To tell you the truth thanks to paid blogging I can afford to get them now, I just don't want to because I'm to cheap to pay full price for them. I';m funny like that. Plus I have had to go such long period without health insurance and without the money to buy them that I have learned to live without them. I have enjoyed increased hearing and sensitivity to vibration thanks to it. When the kids school bus arrives I can hear it through 1000 feet of overgrown forest and rolling hills. I've very proud of that, but it would be really nice to be able to see. With contact lenses I can see individual trees on far off mountains. Without them I have to scoot my computer screen to the edge of the desk and enlarge the letters 3 times to be able to read the screen.

Even though I have learned to live without contact lenses I don't necessarily like living without contact lenses. I would much rather be able to see clearly and since I don't know when I may have to go without health insurance for a long period again I am considering Lasik eye surgery. Its been around long enough for people to know if its going to cause any negative effects. I've learned a lot about it on Doc Shop.com. I've also learned about a new procedure called implantable lenses or something like that. Its where they insert a correct lens inside the eye. I think my MCS would make that to risky though. My body does not like things that don't belong there stuck in it and knowing this I would really hate to have anything inserted inside of my eye. Contact lenses are difficult enough.

That procedure is only for those that don't qualify for Lasik though and I think I qualify. Here is a list of the qualifications in your wondering.
  • Ensure that the eye has developed properly and matured, the ideal LASIK candidate is at least 18 years old.
  • Prior to surgery, vision must be stable for at least one year.
  • No eye infection or injury within the past year.
  • Candidates may not be affected by an autoimmune disorder, such as Sjogren’s Syndrome or Lupus.
  • No history of herpes infections in the eye, as LASIK may bring on a recurrence of the infection.
  • No scarring may be present on the cornea to be considered for LASIK.
  • Candidates must understand the risks of LASIK surgery and have realistic expectations regarding the results that can be achieved.
  • A LASIK candidate may not be nursing or pregnant on the date of surgery.
  • Individuals with dry eye syndrome are not good LASIK candidates.
  • Individuals with pupils that dilate beyond seven millimeters in the dark are not good candidates for LASIK.

Blank

Well today all of my new Pr rankings that i was so proud of all dropped to a 2, all of them. Thats so not fair. I was taking really good ops for a change and now I get to go back to all of the same old ones and working my butt off for the same amount of money I was making before. I am soo pissed.

Payday Loans

Most of us have seen these payday loan places. I don't know anyone personally that has actually used one, at least not to my knowledge. I know that they are an out for people with no credit and no money in emergency situations and that the interest rates can be very high, but in times of need we sometimes have to make desperate measures. Now there is No Fax Payday Loans to simplify the process even more.

I am so tired

Its nearly midnight and I am still working, auuuugh I want to go to bed. I am soo ready to quit now. Bear is off tomorrow, lucky him. I work 7 days a week. I make more than he does though. He's on the bed playing on his lap top. he's stirring up crap apparently. He's drunk too.

Toenail fungus

I have never had any kind of toenail fungus. Although I have seen those disgusting commercials. You know which one I'm talking about. They have the animated little fungus guy and he pulls up the toenail and jumps in. Thats so gross. Well, if you have any kind of nail fungus you can use Zeta Clear to get rid of it. You can also find a lot of other cures for a number of other problems on publichealthforums.com as well.

What sound does Mama make

Ok soo I've been goofing off on you tube tonight watching cute little babies do funny things. Here is one I thought was really really cute. Listen to what sound mama makes, lol.

Holiday Shopping

Well its the holiday season again. Halloweeny just passed us. Its my favorite holiday. Next comes thanksgiving when we all of my mothers family comes down to visit and we all. The Christmas/Yule. Christmas/Yule is my husbands favorite holiday. We already have our Christmas village up, well were in the process of setting it up. One level still needs cotton and we need to replace some light bulbs in the houses. Those people are just on vacation.

You should check out CouponChief.com for discount codes for your holiday shopping. Everyone like to save money after all. At least I know that I do.

The cutest little laughing baby

Oh my gosh, you have to watch this, this is the cutest thing. I sat here and laughed until my eyes were watering my nose was running. Its so cute. Its amazing what babies are amused at.

I found a really cute one with a baby sat sounded like it had an evil laugh, unfortunately the embedding was disabled. But just go to you tube and Baby laughing devil laugh at you tube.

Incorperation

Incorporation is a pain in the butt. At leasts setting it up is. You also have to deal with cooperate taxes at the and of the year as well. We had one but we decided we were actually better off without it. It has its advantages if your going to do any sort of retail sales. You can't buy things wholesale without a tax ID number and you can't get a tax ID number unless your incorporated. But if you go to a bank and you want to get a checking account in your business name (which your going to need to cash any checks made out to your business) you can't get a checking account like DBA your company name. Once your incorporated you need a business checking account and there are all sorts of fees that go along with that too.

A lawyer did our incorporation for us. He was a friend of ours and did it as a favor to us. Theres no way I was going to try something that complicated by myself. But if you want to try it yourself and you think you know how to do it then you can get all of the free corporate forms from Inc Paradise.com. They can also prepare the whole set of documents for you for a small very reasonable fee.

A perfect sunset

It was such a beautiful fall day today. It really sucked that I had to sit here and wait for updates for most of it. I finally got frustrated at sunset and went outside to enjoy what was left of it. I seems that the leaves turned overnight or maybe its just that I haven't been outside for the last few days. With each breeze (and there were a lot of them) they showered down. The sky was slowly filling with heavy gray clouds that were ringed with gold because the sun was setting. It was really beautiful. One of those brief moments I will always remember, like walking through the woods in springtime when the moon is full and its silver light is shining down at my through white dogwood petals that suddenly look like frosted glass

Daylight Savings Time is bad for us

Most of us are well aware of how difficult it is to wake up in the dark. We were not meant to do this. We are daylight creatures and should wake up at dawn, not before. I don't like daylight savings time and I really think we should follow the suns clock and not a different one. Here is an article I found to support this.

This is funny

I always thought this was common knowledge but i guess this is not the case. I found this on digg and thought it was pretty funny so I wanted to share it here. Its a video from youtube obviously and it shows just how dumb some people can be. If i heard this on the news over and over again instead of writing an angry letter about it I might look it up and find out if it was correct or not.

Travel to Edinburgh

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and its second largest city, after Glasgow, which is 45 miles (72 km) away to the west.

It is in the south-east of Scotland, on the east coast of Scotland's Central Belt, on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, on the North Sea and, because of its rugged setting and vast collection of Medieval and Georgian architecture including numerous stone tenements, it is often considered one of the most dramatic cities in Europe. Its also among one of the many places I would like to be able to visit someday. There are plenty of accommodation in Edinburgh and. You won't have a problem finding cheap hotels in Edinburgh at all. There are lots of hotels in Edinburgh to stay at during your visit.

The Christmas village

Our Christmas village is nearly done. bear spent an hour or longer building the wooden platforms today. I guess he decided he needed something different from last year. We did add two new houses this year and a chicken coup so I guess we really did need something bigger. we added more people this year too. We had postmen and firemen and a horses drawn buggy. Plus the same old tired deer from when we started the village. we also picked up some cows and chickens and things like that plus all of the regular people. The new set up is 8 feet long. I don't have all of toe cotton batting on it yet and we need to replace two of the light bulbs. One of the street lights is out and we need another connector for the other street lights because there isn't enough on them. Oh we also added a fiber optic tree. I think it looks a little cluttered but Bear insists that its perfect. I'll take pictures when we get the two lights and lamp fixed and when we get the new cotton on there.

Garages

I have an aunt who built her dream house a few years ago. She actually decorated her garage. She covered the walls in white bead board and painted it high gloss white and then she hung all sorts of little decoration in it. I don't know anyone who has gone that far in there garage. I also knew a man who had lots of expensive toys in his garage and had this special paint put on it that made it nice and shiny. He even had garage cabinets in there. Bear was really envious of that garage. It must be a guy thing.

Wood Cleaner from scrach

When I was a kid I used to like to use that Pledge wood cleaner all of the time. I really enjoyed spraying the can and wasted it all of the time. I don't buy it now that I'm an adult. I don't really see a point. My wood might look better if I did. Here is a method for making your own though.

Try mixing equal parts of Lemon Juice and Olive Oil to create a natural homemade wood furniture cleaner. This mixture cleans well and will leave a pleasant
shine on your household wood furniture.

Another free Dating Site

Here is another free dating site I ran across. Once again this one is 100% completely totally free, no hidden fees and there not going to ask you for a credit card just to view peoples profiles after you sign up. This does not appear to be a new dating site because they have forums on the site that are very active. many of the subject sections have over 1000 threads in them.

Keep birds out of your fruits and veggies in the Garden

I just found this wonderful idea for keeping birds away from your veggies and fruit trees and vines and such. All you have to do is tie little colored snakes onto the branches or hang them around the plants and things like that . You can find inexpensive snakes at the dollar store or toy stores. There cheap and you can use them year after year after year. Just remember where you put the fake ones so that you don't accidentally step on any of the real ones

Aprons

Aprons are such handy things to have if you cook and you also like to wear nice clothes at home. I know for me wearing something nice instead of wearing rags around the house makes me feel better about myself but if your doing house work or cooking you run the risk of ruining those clothes. You just don't see many chef's aprons for sale anymore. I guess we all associate them with days when women were expected to stay home and keep house and bear children. I know when I think of aprons I often think of the house wife in the kitchen with the oven mitt on cooking up a storm but they can still be very useful.

Cozy Homewares.com has a nice variety of aprons that would make great Christmas gifts and they offer free shipping in the USA.

Clean your ceiling fan the easy way.

Want an easy way to clean your ceiling fans without making a big mess on the floor. I have 6 ceiling fans in my home so its messy and time consuming. The easiest thing to do is use an old pillow case (Or a few old pillow cases.) and slide them over the ceiling fan blade. Then just clamp your hands around the end and slide it back down taking the dust and dirt with it. when your finished you just empty the stuff in the pillow case in the garbage can and wash it.

Contemporary furniture

I find myself liking contemporary furniture lately. I don't think I am ever going to find myself putting some of these square plain looking things in my home. I think I'm to much in love with ornate carvings found on replica antique furniture but I do like this contemporary bedroom furniture. This one is pretty awesome. I still don't think I would want to put it in my bedroom, but i do like the look of it.

Computer Courses

I've had a lot of experience with computer training. I find that its easier for me to learn on a computer than in a classroom situation. My son is the same way. I like to think of these programs as Leadership training since I feel like learning this way teaches a person to think on there own a little bit better than traditional classroom settings do. CBT offers computer courses for both adults and children and is worth checking into if your interested in that sort of thing.

Chrochet Wire

Most people who read this know I'm a crafty person. I love to make things with my hands. I like to paint and knit and crochet and do all sorts of other crafts. I have had several periods where my financial circumstances were less than ideal and I found myself hunting for things I could crochet for free. This little idea found on Tool Girl is not something I have dried before but I don't think I was successful. I can remember crocheting copper wire into a useless square. I think copper wire might be prettier than this silver wire. According to tool girl you can crochet anything flexible enough to make a loop out of.
Closeup_dusk_2

Freelance

It can be very very difficult to find people who are qualified for the position your looking for. The more qualified you need them the harder they are to find. I have never had to hunt for a person to fill a truly difficult to fill position. except of course for sales people. It can be really really difficult to find someone who can do door to door sales. I can't imagine what it must be like to find programmers or something like that.

When looking you might want to consider freelance workers. You will find a lot of people out there that are much much happier working for themselves and not actually working as an employee. Like writers for example. There are all sorts of writers out there that work free lance.

Chrocheting with Plastic Bags

I have used a lot of different things to crochet with. I've crochet raffia and grass that I wove into a rope. I've seen people crochet with dried seaweed and would like to try it but I don't live on the ocean. I've also unraveled old sweaters and made them into knew things and shredded old clothing that is stained and can't be recycled and made them into headbands and ponytail holders and rugs.

Now here is someone at www.myrecycledbags.com who recycled plastic bread bags and crochet them into a colorful handbag. She says that you have to cut the strips thinner than fabric and thats its a little harder on your joints than yarn or cloth. She also says don't over pull on the work. remember plastic scratches and does not bounce back.

Techie Deals

Even though I work on the internet I'm not really a technical person. I can't build a computer. Coyote had to program my phone for me. Mouse had to show my how to work the DVR. When something really wrong goes wrong on my computer I have to have our friend Mike come over and fix it. This doesn't mean that I'm not interested in all of the new gadgets thats are coming out on the market though. I'm very interested and even more interested in getting good deals on them since bargain hunting is sort of tattooed into my brain from being broke for so long. So when I ran across this site full of tech bargains I was pretty excited. This site tech bargains .com has a nice looking digital camera right on there front page for 199 dollars and I'm going to need a new digital camera soon. Mine still works fine but the shutter is starting to stick when you turn it on. I even saw a good deal on some Dell slim desktop processors. Its about time they made smaller ones. It saves space after all and with people trying to be more green and going to smaller homes verses those McMansion energy hogs space is pretty important.

Christmas Villages

Its a chilly autumn morning here in Arkansas. The leaves are fully turned now and probably won't be around much longer. Its chilly during the day now and cold in the evening. We've started out Christmas shopping and discussing what were going to do with the Christmas village this year. By the way if you want to do a Christmas village in your home and you don't want to spend a fortune don't go to Wal-mart to get your village stuff. I recommend that you use the Heartland Village houses that you get at Ace hardware. They have new ones every single year and lots of little extras to go with them as far as people and horse drawn carts and things like like that. They also go on sale closer to Christmas. We've bought them for as little as 12 dollars.

Answering Service

I used to work a call center or an Answering Service. It was all incoming calls for customer service. We did outsourcing for a mortgage company. It was a pretty easy job. A little bit to easy actually. It was incredibly boring, but it did pay decently. Although the other employees said after 5 years they start looking for reasons to get rid of you if you haven't gone into management of some form. They don't want to continue to pay high wages to people for the same job they could pay a new person to do for less.

What I learned shortly after taking this job is that the training program we were "rushed" through was actually supposed to take 6 weeks. We were rushed through it in two. No wonder I felt as though my head was going to explode and I was completely un-prepared.

If you employ an answering services for your business your going to want to avoid the kind that rush there employers through the courses so they can get them on the floor faster. A service like Map Communications.com

Goji Berries

There always finding some new plant or something that seems to be what everyone is looking for and it usually comes from some far away country somewhere. They advertise the heck out of it. Goji Berries is one of these plants. Known in Asia as an extremely nutritious food, wolfberries have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for at least 2,000 years (Gross et al., 2006). Their undocumented legend, however, is considerably older, as wolfberries are often linked in Chinese lore to Shen Nung (Shennong), China's legendary First Emperor, mythical father of agriculture, and herbalist who lived circa 2,800 BC.

They've also been grown as an ornamental since the purple flowers are attractive and the red Goji berries are also. Being nutritious doesn't hurt either. If your interested in trying Goji Berry products you should visit www.gojiberriesblog.com and check out there Goji Berry products. I'm sure the blog is very interesting to read also and you could learn more about the berries benifits.

Wholesale Sunglasses

When it comes to buying expensive brand names I prefer to get them at garage sales for a 50 cents to a dollar. My husband is a big fan on knock off brands though. He loves to wear expensive brand names like I do but usually can't afford them. Sunglasses are his thing. He loves Oakley's and there very expensive. He usually buys them from those tents you see on the side of the road selling their sunglasses to people at what I think are prices that are way top high.

I'm sure they buy those sunglasses wholesale and then sell them for 10 times what they actually paid for it and from looking at this website I'm probably right about that. You can buy Wholesale Sunglasses here and set up your own booth like that or maybe just buy a whole bunch for gifts or just for yourself. I don't think I would ever want to set up one of those tents but I might want to buy some expensive looking ones and give them out as gifts or something.

A new concept in dish draining

This is a coll article I found on tree Hugger, of course showing an interesting dish drainer in which the water drains from the dishes into a flower pot. I can't see this as being all that practical. You clearly can't put that ,many dishes in that dish drainer.

waste-not-want-not1-erdem-selek.jpg

TreeHugger is always on the lookout for materials, ideas, designs and concepts that make the most of what we have and wasting as little as possible; it's a key idea for anyone who wants to maximize the reach of their lives while minimizing their footprint on the planet.

For example, for those of you without dishwashers: ever think about what happens to all the water that drains off your rinsed dishes? (We didn't think so.) Designer Erdem Selek did, and came up with the "Dish Drainer Project," a tree-like contraption that collects the water dripping from your recently-cleaned dishes and waters your plants with it.

It probably wouldn't work for a family of five's-worth of dishes every night, but we think that it'd help contextualize all the water that we all mindlessly waste every day, and show that you really care about being smart about your resource use. We have this funny image of people with dishes all over their homes, dinner plates patiently watering their plants after an evening meal. It might seem a trifle silly to some, but it certainly beats letting that water pool up in your dish drainer, and, hey, waste not, want not.

Used Birmingham

I love to go antique hunting. I don't live in Birmingham or anywhere near it for that matter but www.UsedBirmingham.com has a long list of used stuff you can browse through. Not the actual items but ads for the items. Its pretty cool. Kind of like online classified adds. I found such listings as Arts and Antiques, Cars, Children's items, Clothing and Accessories, Computers, General Merchandise, Electronics. They also have a jobs and help wanted and even a personals section. Just like regular classifieds in a newspaper have only you don't have to pay a subscription fee and you don't have to go down to the local gas station to buy it either. As the cost of driving continues its getting harder and harder for papers to find people who will deliver them. It probably won't be to much longer before reading the newspaper online is the only option that you have left. I'm sure that eventually its going to become to much of a hassle for people to go and get a local paper and almost everyone has a computer these days.

Trouble with the neighbors again.

Hmm. my old neighbor, the one who got drunk and fell asleep with food on the stove and burned his house down and then a short time later smashed someone else's truck into a tree is standing in his from yard tonight talking to a cop who has all sorts of lights on his house. Now my neighbor has had trouble with the law for years. He still lives there with his parents and his father is an alcoholic also. i think I heard his father yelling in a drunken stupor earlier tonight. Carl hasn't touched a drop of alcohol since his accident. He says it makes him sick now. Maybe its all of the drugs they have him on since the accident. The poor guy can barely walk and only has the use of one arm. I can't see how he could possibly get into to much trouble in his condition. I think it might have something to do with the fact that his father was definitly drunk earlier this evening.

House Plans

I love houses. I also love to look at house plans and go to open houses. Looking at house plans used to be one of my favorite activities. Now designers are trying to put more and more into even the smaller homes.

I used to love log homes and wanted one. I'm not really drawn to them anymore. Log Cabin House Plans tend to be simpler than regular houses. Now I tend to lean toward English Cottage House Plans. I've never really liked the Small Ranch House Plans that seem to be a dime a dozen.

In some of the newer fancier homes the bathtub in the master bathrooms are set up almost like alters in a temple. Thats really how a bathtub should be though. A sacred space.

House Plans and More.com has a beautiful photo gallery of there homes. Not just with outside pictures, they also have inside pictures as well. I love to look at the insides of the houses as well.

A long day of running

I haven't done much more than run around almost all day today. We picked up the remaining things we needed for the village at Ace Hardware. Its actually there village houses we buy. There's no way I'm going to spend 80 to 100 hundred dollars on houses for a Christmas village. They have those at the Copper Pig (an expensive shop here in town). The ones at Ace hardware are only 20 dollars and Bear still gets the discount he used to get as an employee. Just because he has stayed friends with management though.

Then Bear had me go to hobby lobby and get glue guns. I went home and discovered that I was out of dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, and dish soap and had to go back out again. While I was out I decided to go ahead and go to Bona Dea trails and walk. I took the two mile trail. its takes me only 45 minutes. While on the walk bear called me and told me that his new Knee brace broke and I had to go to wal0mart and exchange it for him. It was nearly 6pm by then.

Whats interesting is that Bona Dea was a goddess in Roman Myth. Bona Dea was the perpetually virginal goddess, associated with virginity and fertility in women. She was also associated with healing, with the sick being tended to in her temple garden with medicinal herbs. She was regarded with great reverence by lower-class citizens, slaves and women; who went to her seeking aid in sickness or for fertility. Bona Dea is usually depicted sitting on a throne, holding a cornucopia. The snake is her attribute, a symbol of healing, and consecrated snakes were kept in her temple at Rome, indicating her phallic nature. There are snakes everywhere at Bona Dea Trails.

Eureka Springs Real estate

You know real estate I Eureka Springs Arkansas is going up by 10% every single year. Its ridiculous how fast its going up. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't become the Palm Springs of Arkansas in a few years. It has to do with the two mineral lakes and the mountains and the fact that its only 20 minutes away from three major cities. If your going to invest in real estate that your not planning on turning over quickly you might want to buy up some of the lake property up there and just sit on it for a few years.

Christmas Shopping

We went Christmas shopping last night after Bear got off work and got a lot of it taken care of. There are still a few people we haven't shopped for yet. My dad being one of them. He's very hard to buy for. We haven't shopped for the kids either.

We did did pick up a few new decorations. We replaced the gas lamps for the village because they got broken last year and we picked up a fiber optic tree. I've been wanting one for years. We looked at people didn't find any that we liked or didn't already have. We need some carts and things for the village though and at least one more house.

Pro 360

I’ve talked about my husbands internet gambling before and I’m going to talk about it again now. I'm not complaining or anything. He is entitled to do the things he enjoys. I should be glad there aren’t any casinos in Arkansas or my husband would never be home. No thats not really true. I don't think he would be at them all of the time or he would want to go to them more often than he does. At least he can gamble online. Thats a good thing. Its better than gambling away from the home and its not as though he has an addiction or anything.

Pro360 is an online casino site review where they list the sites online and give them a ranking. According to the front page there are hundreds of sites on there. This is a good thing to keep an eye on after all you never know when the site your using is going to suddenly decided to take money out of your account. My husband had something like that happen once. The site he was using took 50 dollars out of his account and several other peoples accounts and no amount of complaining seemed to make the least bit of difference.
